This course focuses on the all-weather, day-or-night employment of the epitome of the citizen’s individual weaponry, the rifle. Pistols will be used in the role they are most ideally suited for: as a backup/fallback for when things have gone extraordinarily sideways. Guided discussions on gear selection and tactics, range work and drills to build skills, all in varied lighting conditions.
Our Nightfighter series of courses focus on the utilization of weapon mounted “white lights” on long guns, primarily rifles. White light devices produce illumination that human eyes can directly see without any kind of external amplification or processing.
Weapon mounted lights can be employed with virtually any type of weapon including handguns (as long as they are large enough to be able to mount a tactical light to them) as well as long guns. Various mounting solutions exist with each typically possessing both advantages and disadvantages.
